This Privacy Policy explains how RisingAMP (“RisingAMP”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our construction expense and job tracking software (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who this Policy covers
It covers everyone who signs in to RisingAMP, whether the account owner or a team member invited to a job.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly:
- Account details: your name, email address, and either a password or a Google sign-in.
- Profile and business details: role, mobile number, business name, ABN, business address, and any profile or business image you upload.
- Job and financial data you enter: expenses, invoices, budgets, categories, suppliers, and notes.
- Receipts: images you upload or scan, and the text automatically read from them (such as vendor, amount, date).
- Invitations: the email addresses you enter to invite teammates to a job.
Information we collect automatically:
- Basic technical and usage data such as device type, browser, log data, and actions taken in the app, used to keep the Service secure and working.
We do not intentionally collect payment card details ourselves. If paid plans are introduced, card details are handled by a third-party payment processor, not stored by us.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service, including generating invoices, reports, and summaries.
- To read receipts you submit and suggest a category and amount.
- To send account, security, and service messages, and invitations you initiate.
- To provide support, improve the Service, and keep it secure.
- To meet legal obligations.
4. Google user data (only if you connect Google to send invitations)
If you choose to send invitations through your Google account, RisingAMP requests a single, send-only permission (gmail.send). We use it solely to send invitations that you initiate. We do not read, download, store, or access the contents of your mailbox, your contacts, or any other Gmail data.
RisingAMP’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If you sign in with Google, we receive only your basic profile information (name, email, profile image) to create and secure your account.
5. How your information is stored and who we share it with
Your data is stored using Google Cloud and Firebase services (including Firestore, Authentication, Storage, and Hosting). We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, such as:
- Google Cloud and Firebase, for hosting, authentication, and storage.
- Our receipt-reading (OCR) provider, to extract text from receipts you submit.
- Our email delivery provider, to send account and invitation emails.
- A payment processor, only if and when paid plans are offered.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the public.
Your data may be processed on Google Cloud and Firebase servers in Australia and in other countries, including the United States.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting lalit@opalssconstructions.com.au. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business records.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a complaint. 9. Children
The Service is intended for business users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “last updated” date. Significant changes will be notified where appropriate.
